Hipster Fashion Week

Hope everyone had a good weekend! Mine was busy and relaxing all at the same time. Saturday I was on the run doing errands while Matt took Holden to China town to let him explore all the trinkety shops! Sunday was spring cleaning time and well deserved movie watching. I made sure to spend part of my weekend keeping up with some of the Coachella styles. One article I read calls it the Hipster Fashion week - so true! Some (hipster) trends I did notice were neon, high waisted shorts, crop tops, floral prints, big hats and of couse, tattoos.

Here are some of my favourite celebrity and street style looks, plus where to find some of the pieces I loved!

It was all about the shorts on Emma Roberts. The leather lace detail is what sold me. Get the look here.

I love this style on Diane Kruger. Even though she's not wearing much colour, the patterns still make it stand out. I now want some Aztec shorts for summer. Get them here & here.

Julianne Hough is rocking that short hair. I think her hat is adroable. Similiar here.

Sophia Bush looked classy and beautiful at Coachella. This Navy outfit is sleek and not too casual but still looks comfortbale enough to spend the day stomping around the dessert in. Get the look here and here.

Love the 80's feel to this jean skirt. It would be cute with a crop top as well. Here.

This was one of my favourite looks. The colour and floral print is so soft and summery. I love that she is rocking the pink ombre but has done it a little different with blonde on the ends and pink on top. It's easy to try out this summer with hair chalk.

I love the detail on her top and how stinkin cute is that pinapple bag?

To me this is the quintessential Coachella hipster/rocker look. That jacket is amazing and I love the bright blue purse and matching aviators. (Update: It's pricey but pretty amazing, found the jacket).

Simple and pretty. That floral print on her Maxi skirt is beautiful. This one is pricey but stunning.
