The Perfect Winter Sweater

The weather is all over the place these days! It's warm and then cold and then warm and then - I'm waiting for a full stop after warm. Man, that would be nice. Sadly little H and I have landed with colds because mother N can't make up her mind, so today was definitely a perfect winter sweater kind of day. I wanted to feel like I was curled up in a blanket without actually being able to leave the house in one. This sweater can be seen on a whole heck of a lot of Canadian girls. It was made popular by the Vancouver born store Aritzia (here), it retails for over a hundred dollars but my good ol' buddy Joe Fresh came out with a cheaper, almost identical version. I snagged this a few winters ago for $29! That's what I'm talking about. It really is the perfect winter sweater, it's warm, the collar wraps around you like a scarf, no matter how often I wash it the shape stays and you look like you just came from an après snowboard session. Very Canadian, very cute and perfect for when all you want is to be warm and cozy (which is me from November to April). Every winter season Joe Fresh has a different version (prints and colours) to get you through the cold days.

On a totally seperate note my leggings are faux suede. Matt was all "Whoa, suede, is that pushing it a little?" and I was all " Leggings. But even softer. I'll push that".
