I snapped some pics before work and took in the glorious morning sun. I love seeing warm light come over our deck in the morning and the glow of the city behind us. Mother nature is getting her bright mornings on again and I'm all over it.
When I'm picking my work day outfit, I try to incorporate something I would love wearing on the weekends. I'll add some lace, or spikes, or some subtle version of something I'm into to avoid wearing an entirely conservative outfit. I love this lace skirt from Joe Fresh. The lace hangs just slightly longer than the slip which looks pretty against plain black tights (for the colder months) and the top of the skirt has a black ribbon detail that accentuates the waist line. Lace skirts can be hard to pull off in a conservative office environment but this one works.
