We've each been once before, separately. Matt went on a pilgrimage with his dad and I went on a wild party weekend when I was 19 with my British cousin. I was too young to appreciate it for all that it had to offer. I also got drunk for the first time and threw up in the River Seine. Paris fail. Now Matt and I dream of going together to eat strong cheese, drink wine, visit beautiful churches and galleries, sit along sidewalks, and for me personally, to gaze at the amazing fashion around the city. We know our journey to Europe will not be cheap and when we go we want to do it right and indulge in all that the city has to offer. We have saved enough for two tickets, so are dream is not too far off. On our way to Paris, we plan to make a pit stop in London so Matt can meet some of my family he hasn't met yet. I'm excited to show Matt some of the places that remind me of my grandparents and my childhood - and maybe I'll finally get him to enjoy marmite on toast?! In the meantime, every now and then I put on an outfit that feels a little "French" and Matt will undoubtedly say “I dig it”. My stripes and light chambray shirt over top felt very Parisian - so on that note, please bring me a baguette Garcon! Oui Oui?
Salut xo
